Supporting the teaching and learning of Religious Education in the East Riding of Yorkshire, as defined in the Agreed Syllabus.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council launched an agreed syllabus in July 2005, and it was subsequently revised in the light of the non-statutory Framework for Religious Education (QCDA 2004).

BBC Learning Zone Broadband Class Clips are a rich source of audio-visual sequences selected to work with the curriculum. Try typing in "Mandela" for some really useful clips, or select from the Religious Education subject dropdown.


The site provides up to date information about Religious Education, and we hope that it will help to spread best practice within the East Riding of Yorkshire and beyond.
