Leaves of Life
Displayed below is a selection of the work done by Barmby Moor CE Primary School on a project being run by The Children's
Society, entitled Leaves of Life.
What is Leaves of Life?
Leaves of Life is an event for all ages focusing on the Eastertide messages of 'new life' and a way of harnessing children's views to create
positive change in your community.
Central to the event is a range of activities for children's groups and schools focused on the symbolic image of the Tree of Life.
Children are asked what they'd like to thank God for in their lives and what they'd like to see change and then to write or draw their
thoughts on a prayer leaf.
These are hung on a Tree of Life for all to see and reflect on.
Images created by the children are available by clicking on the thumbnail images below.
